The patient profile sidebar now displays the currently-enrolled phases at the top. Phases are a customizable set of categories and/or labels that can be attached to an individual patient. This new enhancement provides a quick reference point for a patient's enrolled phase(s) when viewing their profile.
Location of New Component
When viewing a patient profile, the first component in the sidebar on the right hand side will show Enrolled Phases:
Up to five of the patient's currently-enrolled phases will be shown immediately. To see additional phases in which the patient is enrolled, scroll downward on the phase listing and the additional entries will automatically load. If the patient does not have any enrolled phases, a message stating "There are no phases associated with the patient" will be shown in the listing's place.
Clicking the Manage Phases button will redirect you to the patient's phase management tab. This can also be reached by clicking the More->Phases tabs inside the patient profile:
The enrolled phase listing in both the More->Phases section and the Enrolled Phases component will match. However, phases that are available but in which the patient is not currently enrolled will be shown only in the More->Phases section.
Additional Notes
- Phase ID
Both the More->Phases section and the Enrolled Phases component now display the phase ID. This number is a unique internal identifier for each phase. These IDs are useful points of reference, and can help resolve support requests more quickly. In addition to phase IDs, the platform will begin exposing other ID numbers (for items such as accounts, organization, and other features) in the near future. - Multi-Tiered Clinics
For group or multi-tier clinics, the selected clinic from the upper left of the dashboard may impact the phase listing shown in the Enrolled Phases component. Keep in mind that phases are exposed on the dashboard by making them available (associating them) to a specific clinic. When associated to a specific clinic, these phases also become available to all child clinics. As such, the listing of enrolled phases will include those phases associated to clinics at or above the selected clinic. To summarize:- A patient's enrolled phase(s) at or above the selected clinic will be shown
- A patients' enrolled phase(s) below the selected clinic will not be shown
